Local Quickbooks Training

Jess Roper McLamb, owner of the Roper Group provides Beginners and Advanced Quickbooks training at her facility in North Raleigh as well as one-on-one training. 

Jess is president and founder of The Roper Group and has more than thirty years of accounting, management, and training experience. Jess graduated from East Carolina University with a B.A. in Math and a minor in Psychology and attended NC State University for post graduate accounting courses. She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Her clients include land developers, service providers, and retail companies.

She supports our Smart Moms and our small business clients.  She is an excellent trainer and can assist you with improving your QB skills.

2010 Opportunity Expos - 3rd Wed of the Month

Our January Expo was a great success!  Join Smart Moms, We-Care-NC and the Triangle Networking Group and Job Finders  for monthly expos with experienced people who have home based businesses and franchise opportunities. These opportunities will be showcased in an informal setting.

These opportunity fairs are designed to have a "no-pressure" feel.  You will not be beaten up or bagered to join any opportunity.  It is strictly an event for Exploration and Data Collection.   Vendors (28) who have been chosen to participate have seen significant success in building their business.  We feel confident that these vendors are experienced enough to support and coach their teams.

Men, Women, Moms, Dads, Grandmothers and Grandfathers are all welcome.  A variety of vendors will be on site. 

Pre-register on the Smart Moms site and receive a free gift - by 3/15/10.

    Microsoft 2007 Upgrade

    Prepare to transition your Office 2003 skills to the Office 2007 software.  This course begins with a look at features of Office 2007 that are common to all the applications; including the Ribbon, the Office button, and the Quick Access toolbar.  Then, learn about new features in Word, and Excel, through hands-on assignments in each application.
