Creating Templates in Excel

Templates enable us to quickly create formatted documents to be used as a repeatable skeleton document. You no longer have to recreate a document over and over.  Learn how to simply create a template, save it and reload it each time you need it.  No need to reize columns, reenter formulas, etc.  Once it is created, never do it again.  Among the topics to be covered are:

1.           Exploring existing templates in Office

2.           Changing an existing template to meet your need

3.           Creating a new template and mistakes to avoid

3.           Entering data into your template

4.           Using a template for a new file

Those that work in volunteer positions can "WOW" their employers by creating templates to eliminate redundancy.  MomPreneurs that find Quickbooks or Quicken  too complicated can use templates to create invoices for your clients among other uses.   Assistants that are responsible for budget reporting including those with graphs will find this class extremely beneficial.  Knowing how to use templates will save you hours.

If you are planning to send out form letters then chances are you will need to use Access or Excel along with Word. If you are reporting information in a direct mailer that contains a chart or calculated numbers, this class will teach you how to make the two programs work together and update each time you change the Excel data.
